Why Amamake is notorious
Amamake is the beating heart of the Minmatar–Amarr warzone and probably the most famous solo-PvP system in the game. It also sits directly on the shortest route between Rens and Amarr, which has fed a steady stream of autopiloting haulers and mission-runners into the middle of a shooting war for as long as the war has existed.
The top belt is the landmark: Amamake's first asteroid belt has hosted arranged duels, blob fights and outright ambushes for well over a decade, and it still draws pilots the way a trade hub undock does. Around it, faction-warfare plexes cycle constantly and pirate groups picket the gates to catch commuters. Treat every gate here as watched — the locals are good, they are organised, and they have been doing this since before most characters were born.
