Why Ahbazon is notorious
After Niarja fell to the Triglavians, the shortest Jita–Amarr route came to run through exactly one low-sec system: Ahbazon, in Genesis. Every route planner in the game offers that shortcut, and the Hykkota gate — the high-sec entry on the Jita side — promptly became one of the most consistently camped gates anywhere in New Eden.
The camps are professional: instalocking ships on the in-gate, scanner alts in the high-sec systems either side, and enough overlap between groups that the gate is rarely empty for long. The traffic never dries up, because the prize is a dozen jumps saved on the busiest trade lane in the game. If your autopilot offers you a suspiciously short Jita–Amarr route, Ahbazon is the catch — check this page before you take the bait.
